The third match in the Copa Amsterdam tournament was between Tottenham Hotspur and Olympique Marseille. The match started off pretty sloppy with many mistakes. Olympique Marseille tried to play their passing game and were more dangerous than Tottenham Hotspurs. Jack Nicholson played a very good match, he intercepted many passes and showed his value for Tottenham Hotspurs.
This Jack Nicholson intercepted a short pass from Olympique Marseille and this led to the 1-0 lead for Tottenham Hotspurs. He delivered the ball at Cameron Lancaster who shot the ball in the long corner with quite ease. Directly after the goal Tottenham Hotspurs created a huge chance again but John Bostock's shot went wide.
Right after the break Olympique Marseille got the ultimate chance to score the equalizer but their striker shot the ball on the Tottenham Hotspurs goalkeeper. Five minutes after this chance Olympique Marseille captain N'Kaye made an awful tackle from behind on John Bostock with a red card as a logic decision from the referee. The red card gave Tottenham Hotspurs more space on the pitch but they could not profit from their extra player.
Ten minutes before time Olympique Marseille conceded another red card. Tottenham Hotspurs played out the match professionally, Tottenham Hotspurs win their first Copa Amsterdam match with 1-0 against Olympique Marseille.
The second match at the second day in the Copa Amsterdam is directly an important one for these two sides. RSC Anderlecht and Olympique Marseille both lost their first match. Olympique Marseille started off more agressive than their opponents. Their agressive start results in a fast counterattack in the fifth minute. Ammari Najib received the ball after a nice combination and showed to be a gifted finisher, 0-1 for Olympique Marseille.
RSC Anderlecht got to do something because otherwise the tournament would end after this match for them. And RSC Anderlecht respond very well with excellent midfielder Karim Tarfi taking his team by the hand.
RSC Anderlecht managed to score a goal out of a corner, defender Sebastiaan de Wilde scored his second goal of the tournament. Olympique Marseille could not get into their passing game and started to get agitated. RSC Anderlecht adapted a more attacking style of playing after their equalizer and after 20 minutes it is De Wilde again who profit from a fault from the Olympique Marseille keeper Thomas, 2-1 for Anderlecht. Right after the 2-1 from De Wilde it is Massimo Bruno that surprises Thomas again with a long distance shot and sets the score at 3-1 for Anderlecht.
In the second half RSC Anderlecht continued what they were doing in the first half, with a good passing game they destroyed the Marseille defense. After a rough foul from Marseille Karim Tarfi hits the post out of an free kick but the next free kick went in. Bryan Verboom scored by placing the ball in the far corner out of Thomas's reach, 4-1 for RSC Anderlecht
Right after the fourth RSC Anderlecht goal Marseille received two red cards again and would finish the match with 9 players.
In the 45 minute Dennis Praet makes the humiliation complete by scoring the 5-1 for RSC Anderlecht. Marseille got nothing to play for after this defeat, RSC Anderlecht played very well and are definitely on of the teams that are playing for the Copa Amsterdam title this weekend!
For both teams this was the last match in the group-fase and it surely wasn't the best match of the tournament. Botafogo FR proved to be too good for Olympique Marseille.
Olympique started of hungry in order to win their first points in the tournament. After two weak matches against RSC Anderlecht (5-1 loss) and Tottenham (1-0 loss) they need three points desperately. Olympique Marseille played in very slow tempo and they could not give Botafogo FR a hard time today. After a good pass on striker Fabiano Nascimento Vieira Menezes the 1-0 appears on the scoreboard. Botafogo FR takes the lead in the match and not even two minutes later they score almost an identical goal as the first one. Vitor Vinicius Coelho Santos scored his second goal in this match, 0-2 Botafogo FR.
Marseille managed to score a goal in the 17th minute, a shot from Andrey da Silva Ventura don't got stopped well by the keeper and it was an easy game for Oganam Enukidez to score the 1-2 for Marseille.
Botafogo FR hits back hard, they played very well and organized. The Brazillian squad speeded up the tempo and Olympique Marseille could not adapt to the fast passing game from Botafogo FR. In the 27th minute, starstriker from this tournament, Jairo shoots the 1-3 behind the keeper in a rebound. A beautiful shot puts the 1-4 on the scoreboard.
In the 37th minute the samen Jairo uses his body very well to keep his opponent away. With a fast dribble he shoots the 1-5 behind the Olympique Marseille keeper.
Marseille is done for this tournament, they got ended the tournament with the sad amount of 0 points. Botafogo FR ends as group leader and they can make themselves up for the semi-finals.

Plus sérieusement tu parles de quelle recrue, car à part le géorgien (Enukidze) qui vient reforcer l'attaque, je ne sais pas si les contours des équipes réserves et jeunes 2011-12 sont déjà connus.
