Monaco to look again at Johansen
Monaco are to invite highly-rated Tromso youngster Jonas Johansen back to Monaco for a second trial.
The midfielder has already spent some time with the French side, but manager Didier Deschamps (pictured) wants to take a second look at the player.
"The plan is that Jonas will travel down to France on Monday," stated Jonas' father, Trond Johansen. "It's positive they want him back."
The Norwegian has also attracted the interest of Lazio and several Belgian clubs and is one of a number of Tromso players to have been taken on trial by European sides.
"We haven't heard anything directly from Monaco, but I know that they wanted tog et Jonas back one more time as Didier Deschamps really wanted to see Jonas," confirmed Tromso director Tore Rismo.
"We will not stand in the way of players going on trial as long as they go before Christmas.
"After the New Year we want our players to fully focus on what is happening with Tromso."
The player himself feels the chance to go to Monaco is all part of his learning curve in the game.
"I don't think of getting a contract or anything like that," explained Johansen.
"I travel down so I get to train and to get more experience. I will not hide the fact that I really enjoyed my last stay there."
