"Friday Night Lights" est en danger, les fans ont donc décidé de se mobiliser ! Dans le même temps, NBC réfléchit à la possibilité de s'associer avec d'autres chaînes pour sauver la série...
NBC a une idée derrière la tête concernant Friday Night Lights. Afin de sauver la série, et accessoirement de réduire les frais, le network pourrait proposer à d'autres chaînes de diffuser la série. A l'image du contrat liant NBC et USA Network pour la diffusion de New York Section Criminelle, le network pourrait ainsi partager Friday avec la CW, Comcast Entertainment Networks (E!/G4) et/ou TNT.

Si cette solution ne se concrétisait pas, l'annulation se rapprocherait dangereusement pour cette série, adulée par la critique américaine (et un noyau dur de fans) mais boudée par la grande majorité des téléspectateurs américains.

La mobilisation des fans
Comme souvent, la proximité de l'annulation a un effet mobilisateur pour les fans de séries. Ces dernières saisons, des opérations originales ont ainsi vu le jour avec plus ou moins de succès : une collecte de noix pour sauver Jericho, l'envoi de célèbres barres chocolatées pour soutenir Veronica Mars... Cette année, il semblerait que Friday Night Lights soit au coeur de la mobilisation. Une pétition pour sauver la série de CBS a ainsi vu le jour sur Internet : elle va permettre aux fans de manifester auprès de Ben Silverman, responsable de la programmation de NBC, et d'envoyer à ce dernier... des ballons de foot américain en plastique ! Si vous êtes fans de Friday Night Lights, c'est le moment de faire chauffer la souris...

It was previously reported that NBC was trying to recruit help to keep the critically acclaimed show on the air, asking other networks to help foot the drama's bill and share broadcast rights. Now it looks like everyone is happy; it's likely the satellite-television provider will add Friday Night Lights to its game plan, and NBC will continue to air its much-beloved award winner. Exact details should be announced soon.

Clear Eyes ! Full Hearts ! Can't Lose ! Ca y est ! C'est fait ! C'est officiel ! Avé ! Après des hypothèses et une rumeur insistante de confirmation, Friday Night Lights a enfin été officiellement renouvelée pour une troisième saison ! Une libération pour beaucoup et qui devrait donner lieu à une fin splendide ou une autoroute pour une éventuelle saison 4. Mais nous n'y sommes pas encore, alors concentrons nous sur cette saison 3...
La série de Peter Berg reviendra à l'antenne dès septembre sur DirecTV, filiale payante du câble à l'instar de Showtime pour CBS.
Les informations concernant cette saison 3 restent encore méconnues mais nous avons déjà été informés de l'essentiel lors de la convention au Paley Festival (VOIR NOTRE ARTICLE DES RÉVÉLATIONS SAISON 3).

Il semblerait que nous devrions avoir droit à 22 épisodes et une légère avancée dans l'intrigue (comme la saison 5 des Frères Scott cette année).

La diffusion en deux temps pourrait s'avérer être une tactique fructueuse pour NBC. En effet, la série rependra donc en "exclu" sur DirecTV dès septembre puis sera rediffusée sur NBC dans sa case horaire habituelle du vendredi à 21h dès février 2009. Une diffusion qui permettra à NBC de limiter les coûts, d'empocher de l'argent avec la diffusion payante (comme Showtime), de rediffuser et mobiliser les fans et donc d'assurer la diffusion de la saison 3 dans son intégralité.

It was previously revealed that "Chapter Three" would be subtitled "Villains," and focus on ordinary people with extraordinary abilities who use their new found powers for the not-so-good.

Now for the bad news. The proposed stand-alone Heroes spin-off Heroes: Origins is officially dead--for now. Originally designed to expand the Heroes universe while the show was white-hot, Origins was slated to have guest directors and tell stories of new heroes, one of which would eventually be folded into the regular show.

"We were taxing our creative team to do too much around that," Silverman said at the NBC upfront presentation to advertisers in New York yesterday. "We wanted 35 Heroes [episodes] and 12 Heroes: Origins, each of which was supposed to be a mini-movie and backdoor pilot. We reached far and challenged our people, and we decided it was better to focus on keeping the Heroes mothership as strong as possible."

Sinon retour de HIMYM depuis le 17 mars, deja 3 épisodes de sorties. J'avais complétement zappé ce retour, j'ai hate de retrouver cette serie. Apparement il y aurait Britney Spears en guest dans un épisode

C'est clerc que c'est dommage ils étaient plus parti sur la fin avec les problèmes de racisme avec smash ses problèmes pour trouver une fac..........
En espérant qu'ils reviennent sur les fondamentaux de la série c'est a dire le football

En cette période de disette ca faisait du bien de retrouver HIMYM effectivement ;o avec 3 épisodes de qualité...

Sinon pour Heroes meme si on passe au volume 3 ca suivra forcement la saison 2... D'ailleurs l'épisode de 2h bouclera peut etre le volume 2 qui sait...

Sinon le calendrier de NBC pour 2008-2009 est parut

Forward-looking NBC got a jump on the other networks today when it announced its 2008-2009 schedule before advertisers in New York. The network has long been touting its plans to change the way its business has been run (probably a good thing after a dismal few years), and it certainly did that by looking as far ahead as summer 2009.

An Office spin-off? Spreading it a little thin, NBC.

A spin-off for The Office is in the works and will debut after next year's Super Bowl in early February. There are no details on the show, but don't count on the rumored Dwight Schrute solo show; actor Rainn Wilson recently said he knew nothing of such a project. [UPDATE] The entire Office team will be behind the spin-off, and some actors from the original may find themselves in the new show.

There is a god: Friday Night Lights is coming back to NBC, but won't take snaps until early 2009 on Fridays. [UPDATE] Turns out the rumors were true. In an unusual move for a major network, the third season of Friday Night Lights will debut on DirecTV on October 1, and then re-air on NBC in February. At the moment, the third season has a 13-episode order.

Lipstick Jungle will pucker up for a second season this fall. However, it has been unusually paired with Knight Rider and Deal or No Deal...not sure why that trio makes sense together.

Thursday will continue to be comedy night, with My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, The Office, and Saturday Night Live primetime specials in the fall and the Office spin-off in the winter. Matthew Broderick will also join 30 Rock in the upcoming season, but it's unclear in what capacity.

Medium is still among the living, scheduled for Sunday nights in the winter.

Chuck and Life are still on track for the fall, with the former being paired once again with Heroes on Monday nights, and Life moved to (gulp!) Fridays. However, it will be paired with Friday Night Lights in early 2009, making for a quality two-hour block of television.

NBC also announced that it has partnered with Liberty Mutual to sponsor certain shows, kind of like what television used to in the old days ("Welcome to 21, sponsored by Geritol!"). The insurance company will start off by plastering its name on a pair of two-hour backdoor pilots, including Kings starring Ian McShane. Should the telefilms get picked up to series, Liberty Mutual will have first dibs on continuing the advertising partnership with the show.

New shows on NBC's schedule include My Own Worst Enemy starring Christian Slater (Mondays, fall 2008), comedy Kath & Kim starring Molly Shannon (Tuesdays, fall 2008), Knight Rider (Wednesdays, fall 2008), island-bound drama Crusoe (Fridays, fall 2008), drama The Philanthropist (Mondays, winter 2009), untitled Office spin-off (Thursdays, winter 2009), Merlin and Kings (Sundays, winter 2009), America's Toughest Jobs (Mondays, summer 2009), Shark Taggers (Wednesdays, summer 2009), The Listener (Thursdays, summer 2009), and kitchen reality show Chopping Block (Fridays, summer 2009).
