Bon, je joue, quand j'ai le temps, a Medieval Total war.

Je suis sous Windows seven.
J'ai donc installé Deus Lo Vult 6.0 ( nickel) puis 6.2 et là, c'est le drame :
Ca charge et ca plante systématiquement en fin de chargment d'une partie.

J'ai changé 3 fichiers .sd en fichiers .bak , sans résultat.

Un gars a le même probleme que moi ( http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=329116 ) et on lui a donné cette solution ( entre autres) :
Sauf que j'y entrave que dalle. Quelqu'un a déja fait ce genre d emanip' ?

Solution for Windows 7 (i think its the same for Vista)

A. Install your wanted mod according to install orders of the mod.

write down (or remember) the path-name of the mod
write down (or remember) the name of the mods´ .cfg file (hint: many mods using a .bat-file linked behind the mod-icon on your desktop...in that .bat-file you may find the proper info.)


B. start the registry editor, for example with typing in "regedit" under the run option (?), down in the start menu.

You need to look for the proper key, which is not the same as for WinXP.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\Mods\


1. add a new key called "unofficial" under the existing "mod" key (i think you can alternatively put a new key 0004xxxx under "official" key)

2. make a new key "0000xxxxxxx" under the "unofficial" key (if you want to add more mods, you need to go on with 0001xxxx, 0002xxxx etc.)

3. make all the new entries like in the screenie. its a mere copy of the entries from the official mod keys and strings.

I made red circles around the most important binaries/strings, which is:
The ConfigFile - here you need to add the corresponding .cfg from your preferred mod. (e.g DLV_ext.cfg for DeusLoVult)
The GameExe - here you need to add kingdoms.exe, because thats our ultimate goal
The Path - here you need to add the complete path for the mod, including the "mods/xxxx", where xxxx is the path-name of your mod, (e.g. mods/DLV_ext for DeusLoVult)

the other strings should be filled correct, but are more or less fluff.

then close the registry editor.

C. start the m2tw launcher und choose your new added mod

Ouais, seul le registre concernant le jeu est modifié. Tant que gob ne touche pas au registre Windows, il n'y a pas grand chose à craindre.

Bah déjà la première chose à faire avant c'est une sauvegarde de la base de registre comme ça si ça merde tu importes la sauvegarde et y'a pas de casse

gob, le message fait référence à un screenshot. Si tu remets la main dessus, je pourrais essayer de te faire un fichier .reg qui ajoutera automatiquement les nouvelles entrées... ou pas.

gob, c'est simple, copie les fichiers de ton jeu, va dans un fichier nommé win32, efface le et colle le fichier de ton jeu. voilà, maintenant tu peux apprecier ton jeu en toute tranquilité

It may be UAC (User account control) turn it off... Some Vista users have the same problem with Third age (I was the one) and after turning it off it works fine.As for WIN 7 http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/news/2 ... 7s-uac.ars it has more problems then Vista or maybe I am wrong.
Because of heavy scripting it may be fighting with admin privileges...

j'ai souvent un message sur mon ordi "memoire virtuelle insuffisante" et tous les jours, mon ordi rame pendant au moins 30mn (en fin de journée souvent) et je peux rien faire, tout est bloqué

ruby, tu peux toujours augmenter la mémoire virtuelle de ton PC : clic droit sur poste de travail, ensuite onglet : avancé, dans performance tu clic sur paramètre et onglet avancé, et la tu peux augmenter la mémoire virtuelle de ton pc.

et je marque quoi comme chiffres pour augmenter la mémoire?
