Beye sur RMC, qui déclare qu'il est partit du club parce que il a été mis a l'écart pour le match contre Caen . . . Et dire qu'il a osé déclaré que la concurence ne lui fait pas peur
Et aussi pour tout ceux qui adore craché sur Ribery lorsqu'il ose dire que Bayern c'est plus profesionnel que l'OM ou autre. Beye a déclaré "je regrette pas d'avoir quitté l'OM, parce que maintenant je suis dans un grand club, avec un grand stade et une grande ambiance"...

05/05/2008 I think with Beye's performances this season you can excuse him a bit of an off day against Chelsea in the bank holiday sunshine where Newcastle were beaten comfortably 2-0. He attacked the flank well but the final product wasn't as good as it has been recently. Defensively however he looked very solid and received an ovation at the end of the game for his efforts- more so for what he has done this season- a proper right back at last- oh and bye bye Carr- you won't be missed!

26/04/2008 Beye was left exposed by Geremi in the opening half an hour of Newcastle's 2-2 draw with West Ham, leaving him to deal with a constant stream of attacks down the wing- which he dealt with in the usual way. Not his best game for the club- but solid enough and keeps the unbeaten run going. Lets hope we can extend it further by snuffing out Chelsea on Monday and ending their title ambitions with it!

20/04/2008 Passion, dedication, commitment- all words that could be attributed to Habib Beye during Sundays comfortable 2-0 victory over the mackems. His love for the club was there for all to see as he celebrated with Steven Taylor at the corner flag- as happy as any fan celebrating with him in the stands. A great performance, a great celebration- a GREAT man!

12/04/2008 A Man for all seasons! Beye put in a solid performance against Pompy at Fratton Park to help Newcastle keep their unbeaten run going with a nil nil draw. His work was mainly carried out in the Newcastle half and didn't get as many chances to power forward as of late but did what he had to with the strength and determination that we have come to expect with Habib...bring on the mackems!

05/04/2008 If Beye was good against Spurs he was absolutely terrific against Reading who couldn't get a hold of him as he flew up and down the wing all game, chipping in with 2 assists along the way. As Keegan says, if there is a better right back in the prem at the moment he must be going about his work very quietly. His passion for the club was summed up in his celebration at each goal- although I'm not to sure about the way he picked up Michael Owen- a new one to say the least! At the end of the game he stood and applauded all 4 sections of the ground and the fans reciprocated with their appreciation for a man who has given his all for the club this season. Newcastle at times ripped through Reading and ran out deserved 3-0 winners- much to the disgust (I'm sure!) of all of these 'extremely sad' people who have nothing better to do with their lives but pray that Newcastle and Keegan fail- well we are sorry to disappoint you- this team is going places under King Kev!

31/03/2008 Habib was absolutely outstanding in the 4-1 mauling of Spurs and can count himslef very unlucky not to end up on the scoresheet as he crashed a superb left foot effort off the crossbar. The whole team played out of their skins and the back four hardly put a foot wrong. I wonder what the odds are for Beye to score the first goal against Reading? Happy days for both Newcastle United and Habib!

22/03/2008 Beye looked great both defensively and offensively as Newcastle cruised to a 2 nil victory against a hapless Fulham side. It seems the next Beye goal is only just around the corner with his attacking play as good as anyones! A clean sheet, 3 points, a double over the opposition- a great day.

18/03/2008 Unspectacular but solid from Beye in Newcastle United's 1 all draw against Birmingham at St Andrews. The defence didn't turn up in the first half, particularly Taylor and Faye but in the second half they looked like a unit working together instead of 4 strangers. Beye never threatened the goal )as he did in the reverse fixture) but he did little wrong.

08/03/2008 Again, not much to say about a member of a defence that constantly sheds goals- this time 3 to a Liverpool side that didn't NEED to get out of second gear. However, Beye deserves a special mention for staying out last applauding the away fans- a great man!

01/03/2008 A very good Newcastle performance still resulted in a nil return. Beye and Enrique patrolled the flanks really well, with Beye in particular getting forward at every opportunity. Apart from the goal, the defence coped well and with every game that goes by Beye shows he has the attitude, ability and passion to be a real key player for Newcastle Uinted. Delighted to see him giving Mark Hughes what for as he wrestled for the ball on the touchline...

Magneto, j'adorais ce joueur jusqu'à sa dernière saison où il n'avait pas le même rendement pour une raison qui m'échappe encore compte tenu des commentaires anglais.

Sa dernière année, il n'attaquais quasiment plus sur son aile ou très mal, pire que Ferreira, heureusement défensivement il tenait encore la baraque. Comment se fait il qu'aujourd'hui il soit revenu aussi bien ? C'est une question d'ordre moral ou des consignes tactiques (oui je sais notre coach était Emon mais sait on jamais) ?

La saison derniere il a joué avec une blessure au pied quasiment toute l'année..
Ca plus une défense centrale amputée de patron... Sans mettre la faute sur qui que ce soit, ça doit pas être le rêve de jouer avec une charniere centrale Civelli Zubar qui devait elle même rattraper les conneries de Taiwo.
Puis peut être que le brassard lui a quelque peu pesé je sais pas... J'ai un peu la même impression avec Cana cette saison, il me semble que le brassard le bride aussi.
Et le truc aussi c'est qu'à l'OM, dès que les joueurs ont une mauvaise passe, on les vend au lieu de leur laisser le temps de se reprendre...Je suis sur que si le staff avait remobilisé Habib au mois d'août il serait encore là, et s'éclaterait avec Gerets. On aurait pas eu besoin de prendre Krupo, Bonnart aurait remplacé Taiwo, alterné avec Beye... Habib aurait pu jouer au centre au lieu qu'on mette Zubar quand Rodriguez est blessé etc etc... Bref y'avait des solutions...

Magneto, autant Cana on comprend pourquoi le brassard l'a calmé autant Beye je ne vois pas la raison. Je suis toujours étonné de voir nos latéraux rester aussi bas sur le terrain et ne pas beaucoup participer aux phases offensives. On manque d'un profil offensif à la Ebondo qui monte naturellement dans son couloir, surtout dans un schéma en 4-3-3 où les latéraux ont un grand rôle à jouer sur les ailes afin d'apporter le surnombre.

Ils jouent comment Newcastle cette année ?

peops, En 442 ou 433 ça dépend des fois... J'ai regardé quelques matches et j'ai vu que Habib montait souvent quand même. (Bon par contre il sait toujours pas centrer). Devant lui en général il a Gérémi ou Alan Smith

une statue pour Magneto, respect pour son fan inconditionnel .

il pourrait signer à Bolton

Ca m'étonnerait... Keagan compte sur lui, et apparemment selon les fans de Newcastle, ça fait des saisons qu'ils cherchent un arrière droit qui tient la route, et ils ont l'air très satisfaits de lui.

Cette saison avec Gerets des le début Beye et Pagis on stresserait comme des malades pour OM Strasbourg .....mais on suivrait non pas le match a nancy mais a Auxerre

Selon The Sun, le défenseur international sénégalais Habib Beye serait dans le doute quant à son avenir à Newcastle.

Wigan, West Bromwich Albion et Bolton seraient sur la piste du défenseur international sénégalais Habib Beye (30 ans), qui ne serait pas encore fixé sur son avenir à Newcastle. Son coéquipier, et compatriote, Lamine Diatta (32 ans) serait dans la même situation.

Oui j'avais vu cette news, mais bon je doute que ce soit d'actualité...Newcastle niveau prestige, paye et sportif c'est mieux que les autres clubs cités...Il est apprécié, et a toujours été titulaire, c'est pas comme si il cherchait à jouer.. Enfin on verra bien.

Wigan et Bolton qui ont fleurté toute l'année avec les reléguables, West Bromwich Albion promu et adepte de l'ascenseur...
Ajoutons que Newcaslte est la 18ème défense d'Angleterre.
